Here is an update on the Market Watch Game. It doesn't look there was any change in the standings this week, and it also looks like none of the other players have made any trades this week. The game is two months old now, but nobody is running away with it, so there is plenty of time to get in.
I added two more positions this week,
MHS and
DPZ, and got stopped out of my biggest gainer,
CLR. I am now setting stops fairly tight, and looking more to adding to existing positions rather than opening new positions, and am using only limit orders to buy.I have added to I have added to
GRA and
LVS and tried to add to
MAT, but that got screwed up. I may be looking to add to
RL today. I will do a post some time on pyramiding into positions: IBD recently had a column on how to do it, and I have been doing it differently. I think I like my way better, so I will get into that when I have time.
Here are the stop loss orders. I normally try to use technical levels to set stops, but once I get a decent profit, the stops are used to protect that profit regardless of technical levels.
