MELI

MELI is one I have been looking at a lot lately, and since it reported and had a near breakout today, it's probably a good idea to look at it again. This is testing a theory of mine based on past observations: when a stock breaks out and starts to establish a new trading range, it marks approximately the mid point of that range on it's first move up. In this case, that would be 89.90. Measured form the top of the gap, which is where the new range starts, that would put the top of the range at about 104. Even though this has hit new highs several times since establishing that pivot point at 89.90, it has not made a breakout move, and if my theory holds water, it won;t make one until tests the upper end of the range. While I am skeptical, I have seen that behavior on many charts.
