JCP has what looks like a very impressive breakout, but in reality just barely beat out the old high going back to last May, making this a very long cup and hadle pattern. The O'Neil breakout point is the high of the handle, where the middle line is, making this, even though it is barely at a new high, extremely extended. I have this one the relative strength list but did not have it on my earnings schedule. I can't tell if it actually reported or of this is a preliminary report because there are about 200 headlines both for today and yesterday for this stock.
