MSFT probably was not a proper breakout, but by torturing the pivot point placement, you could make the argument that it did break out. In nay case, this appear to be entering a new trading range. The trouble with this is that it is not a growth stock, so buying breakouts may not be the best strategy with these. They usually trade in well defined ranges, and buying at the bottom of that range is usually the best strategy, but not until we find out exactly where the bottom of that range is.
